Join the discord! https://discord.gg/RjCae4XZCX 💬 V2V makes avatar creation more accessible to creators by simplifying the technical aspects of avatar creation, allowing you to focus on the creative aspects. Converting VRoid models to VRChat requires a lot of modifications. This takes several hours and requires a lot of technical knowledge. The steep learning curve normally involved in creating VRChat avatars discourages many users, especially those who are not familiar with the necessary tools. To solve this I decided to learn C# and build an automated tool that could make this process easier for everyone and remove the need of Blender. V2V streamlines the conversion process by handling a range of technical tasks. Some of the key features of this tool include: ⭐️ Changing materials to use Poiyomi shaders with preset fallback shaders in case performance limiting is in effect. ⭐️ Adding gesture emotions for a more expressive avatar (especially for desktop users). ⭐️ Updating settings to prevent body parts from becoming invisible at some angles. ⭐️ Calculating optimal shoulder bone positions & moving them to counter VRChat's auto slouch. ⭐️ Moving some bones in the hierarchy to work properly with VRChat's movement system. ⭐️ Adding colliders for torso, upper legs, upper arms, lower arms, hands and fingers. ⭐️ Upgrading VRoid's bone physics to VRChat's PhysBones with custom-tailored presets.
